!ViperOneM9 2.0.0 è basata su fw 1.40 quindi è obbligatorio avere il nuovo firmware! Siccome il fw 1.40.401.5 non deriva da aggiornamenti OTA di HTC, c'è bisogno di installarlo manualmente via fastboot.
Il procedimento richiede l'S-off, e i passi sono i soliti richiesti per il flash del firmware (guida in preparazione, in caso di problemi potete rivolgervi nel thread SOS in rilievo). Info: QUI

iIn Aroma c'è l'opzione per installare il kernel 1.32 kernel anche mantenendo la base precedente, questo consentirà alla ViperOneM9 2.0.0 di avviarsi anche sui fw precedenti al 1.40.
Nonostante questo, l'intallazione del nuovo FW è fortemente consigliata, sopratutto per poter usufruire dei miglioramenti apportati dalla base 1.40. -

- Modified HTC Themes in Settings > Personalize > Change Accent Colour to now offer dark headers (thanks @IneedOne for default.xml edits)

iLa dicitura "May require FW update", significa che tali funzionalità probabilmente funzioneranno anche sul fw precendete, ma se andrete incontro a issue o malfunzionamenti, allora ci sarà bisogno di aggiornare la base.
iLa recovery consigliata è la TRWP 2.8.7.0
La ViperOneM9 3.0.0 è disponibile solo come Fullrom siccome ora utilizza la base Android 5.1 2.7.401.1

Flashato la 3.0.0,però non riesco a visualizzare l'ambient display,eppure è attivo sia nelle impostazioni normali,che in quelle della viper. Come risolvo ??

Ragazzi ma c'è bisogno di essere per forza in S-OFF per aggiornare manualmente il nuovo firmware?? Mi scoccio di aspettare il nuovo aggiornamento
P.S. Vi vorrei chiedere una cosa al di fuori dell'attuale discussione, ma si può fare l'undervolt su m9?? Se si come ?? Grazie :) -

In merito ti dico che il nuovo kernel della sense 5.1 cala le frequenze di tutti e 8 core a 384 mhz a differenza di prima che i core 4-7 erano in idle a 634mhz, questa comporta un miglioramento nel risparmio energetico -

Qualcuno ha un link alternativo alla 3.1.0 ? quelli del Team non mi funzionano, sono 2 giorni che provo ma falliscono sempre.
