Se hai messo il boot.img originale della viperx è normale che non hai avuto problemi ma se mettevi altri kernel ad esempio il faux allora dovevi flashare i moduli

Caio a tutti,
ho bisogno di un aiuto. Questa sera mi sono messo in testa di modificare il mio one x installando questa rom.
Ho iniziaato con lo sblocco del bootloader e l'installazione della custom recovery, procedure spiegate benissimo nelle vostre guide, e a quanto pare andata a buon fine.
A questo punto scarico la rom ViperX_v1.0.0 ed il file zippato VenomFlasherV1.0 che non ho ben capito a che punto del procedimento andrebbe installato, cmq installo la viper da recovery, parte la procedura automatica e il tutto sembra andare a buon fine ma all'avvio di android dopo 3 secondi il sistema va in loop e il terminale continua a spegnersi subito dopo la prima schemata di android.
Premesso che sono un Niubbo e anche un idiota perche non ho fatto il beckup del sistema, cosa mi consigliate? -

te la copio anche qua ma basta seguire la guida fatta da @cesco nel primo topic di questa pagina del modding..
If you are new to flashing pls use THIS step by step guide for our rom.
DON'T flash a custom kernel BEFORE flashing the rom, DON'T!
Explanation: custom kernels require custom modules, if your flash the kernel with modules first the modules will be wiped after installint the rom with a fullwipe and your device will bootloop
If you want a custom kernel, pls follow the step by step guide first and install it with the stock kernel.
After your device booted up sucessfully and you wanna have your desired custom kernel you can use the boot.img flasher from post #4.
Download the fastboot assembly from here
Download the rom
The rom is a .zip file, open it with your desired zip file manager and extract the boot.img which is in the root of the rom zip.
Extract the downloaded fastboot zip and extract them to C:/Android
Copy ViperX_xx.zip to your HTC One X
Open your cmd, navigate with
Code:
cd C:\Android
to your fastboot folder or open your Explorer and navigate to C:\, press Shift and make a rightklick on your fastboot folder and choose Open cmd here
Now connect your One X via USB and ensuer you have HTC Sync installed, you need the drivers to be abel to use fastboot
Shut down your HTC One X completly: Untick fastboot in Settings->Power
Now press and hold volume down and power until your screen shows the hboot menu, press the power button once to jump into fastboot mode.
Go to your cdm window, it should show

C:\fastboot
write
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
into the cmd window and press enter
write
Code:
fastboot erase cache
into the cmd window and press enter
When the commands was sucessfully, press power again to go back to the hboot
navigate with yoru volume buttons to "Recovery"
in Recovery choose install zip from sd -> choose zip file and navigate with your volume buttons to the downloaded rom and hit power and comfirm with yes.
No the aroma installer should show, if you have the touch recovery installed you can use your screen to navigate through it, otherwise use the volume buttons and confirm with the power button.
IMPORTANT: if you come from another rom, pls choose FULLWIPE
After you configurated it, reboot youu device and enjoy (-:

Si in effetti la procedura è diversa da quella che ho eseguito io, ma ora ho paura di aver combinato un doppio casino visto che non posso piu collegare il terminale via Usb (causa recovery) e quindi aggiungere ad esempio il file boot.img alla root.
In questo momento nella root ho 2 soli file : ViperX_v1.0.0 zip e VenomFlasherV1.0.zip
Un bel problema!
Dite che devo aspettare che fixino la recovery per l'usb? -
23-07-12, 13:04tomdelonge87no..devi avere la cartella con fastboot e adb sul pc..su c: per intenderci..ed andare in fastboot e flashare la boot img della viper..la boot la trovi facendo l'estrazione dallo zip della viper 1.0.0.. guarda la prima guida che ha fatto cesco ..è in rilievo..Quote:

salve a tutti ragazzi, dalla (poco soddisfacente) insertcoin sto passando a questa rom, volevo sapere che kernel mi consigliate per questa rom, considerate che io non gioco quasi mai, mi interessa parte telefonica, navigazione, qualità audio, batteria.....fatemi sapere, per adesso ho lasciato il kernel stock....
