    Si potrebbe provare a compilare questi source del kernel 3.4 della cm10 per g510 http://link2.tapatalk.com/?id=11082X...26c9e0c&sref=4

    Ikon, thanks a lot for your great efforts!

    I discovered this Github Page a few days ago:
    https://github.com/derekhe

    "Derekhe" modified the G330-D kernel and fixed compile issues. I just tried to compile and flash the kernel on my device but Wifi and Bluetooth still doesn't work. Instead of modifying the board-msm7x27a.c file he modified board-msm7627a.h and removed this part on line 104:
    codice:
    struct bt_vreg_info {
    	const char *name;
    	unsigned int pmapp_id;
    	unsigned int min_level;
    	unsigned int max_level;
    	unsigned int is_pin_controlled;
    	struct regulator *reg;
    };
    Do you have any progress in porting the G510 kernel?

    Regards,
    DemonFirefox

    EDIT: Just found something pretty interesting! According to mengzhuos git page you just need the set this before compiling:
    codice:
    export ENABLE_BTLA_VER30=true
    Just used the original/unmodified kernel and it compiled flawlessly! Still the Wifi/Bluetooth problem remains. Maybe I'm doing something wrong (toolchain, copying drivers, etc)? Would be great if you could check it, thanks!

    Thank you for the hints.

    I am still not able to compile the g510 kernel. I can't find the reason. About the derekhe fix, I am not confident on removing code or make other kind of invasive changes. I mean, the kernel is original and released by the vendor: it must work as it is. No changes should be needed. My patch just mask some compiler warnings handled as errors by GCC v4.7. I just fixed the board-msm7x27a.c because the fix is pretty straightforward (they were missing an #ifdef). For the G510 the problem is about the same. My opinion is that a lot of customers were asking for the kernel and this was bothering them. So they just released a kernel! They didn't check if it was working or not...

    Anyway I am not working on the kernel since I am busy with my job. Please, continue to post here your progresses.

    I will try to contact someone in Huawei that can support me compiling a working kernel!
