Not properly, no :( I have found a workaround in a chinese forum.
After flash the TWRP recovery, the screen shows only the Nubia logo, looks like frozen, but it is actually working cause you can feel the vibration when you press the touch screen randomly.

The workaround is:
1. Flash the TWRP (i flashed this version through Fastboot, but the method posted in this thread probably works);
2. Boot on recovery;
3. Don't do anything... just wait the screen to turn off (5 to 10 minutes, not sure);
4. After the screen turns off, press power button to turn screen on again, and you should see TWRP recovery :)
5. flash gapps last version (ARM, android 5.1) from opengapps.org (new release today, october 30th)
6. wipe dalvik + cache;
7. reboot

It worked fine on my device :)

ho provato a installare twrp come spiegato in prima pagina di questo thread ma sembra che abbia fallito
come funziona Fastboot?

Why the TWRP installation did not work? It throws some error? what's the behaviour you experienced?

L'installazione dice ok. Ma non riesco ad accedere al twrp. Rimane sul logo nubia. Ho aspettato 30 minuti ma lo schermo rimane acceso sul logo
Passando invece da update - > riavvia in modalità recovery. Si avvia la recovery nubia

If it says OKAY, I believe it installed correctly. You just make sure the phone restarts to recovery after that, and then unplug the USB cable and wait the screen to turn off. I forget to mention that you must unplug the USB, otherwise the screen won't turn off

Il cavo usb non era connesso. Niente da fare

aggiornamento:
passando da impostazioni -> update -> installa da locale, ho installato le gapps... significa che TWRP c'è, ma non si vede...

Hmmm never thought that way, but yes i believe you are right, it should work. But I am not sure if in that case TWRP prompts you to click any button :/

I was able to install Xposed in the same way. Installed Twrp manager via play Store, and it recognize twrp installed...
Sono riuscito a installare xposed con lo stesso metodo. Ho poi installato twrp manager e mi riconosce twrp come installata.

Che errore ti dice?
Guarda che invece non rimanga nascosta.
Scarica le gapps e mettile nella cartella principale. Poi da update vai a installa da locale e seleziona le gapps. Il telefono si riavvierà e si installeranno...
