Il codice Linaro sarà presente nella prossima Versione, ma non aspettatevi miracoli o chissà che incrementi prestazionali...

Come suggerisce il buon Xlory il codice è già presente in parte negli ultimi kernel che troverete nella Rom, ma in pratica hanno solo aggiunto il flag -o3 nella compilazione del kernel (per chi sa il fatto si usa di solito l'o2 per avere buone prestazioni e stabilità, l'o3 è un pò meglio di o2 ed è usato nel codice Linaro)



Ma io detto solo oggi forse forse... vado al mare!

touchwake significa che a schermo spento basta toccare il touch (per i secondi che hai impostato) e il telefono si accende.

I asked just to know the diffrence between these 2 governors if i need battery i can just set up powersave settings but I'm a bit worried about OC... yes i know that at 1200 mhz the phone is soooo fast but I'd like to use it for a looong time what can the risks be using oc for a long time?

Ok today came on benchmark up to 3580-3600 score ,maybe a bit to fast now,will probably have to lower a few things.

Mmmmmm it wont happen much to your phone amigo,because you didn´t touch LIVE OC.That poop can break your phone and don´t set it to 1400 MHz,1200 is ok and will last long.
For know my new settings work great,will test it a little more and if it´s ok,i´ll tell you what and how

Negli ultimi due giorni ho provato il nuovo devil kernel con app annessa, molto comoda e con un sacco di opzioni. Da buon smanettone ho provato varie combinazioni e per il primo giorno è andato tutto bene, dal secondo giorno ho cominciato ad avere grossi problemi, il cell si riavviava da solo sempre più spesso fino a quando non è poi ripartito. Ho dovuto piallare con odin ed ho ripristinato un nandroid con il buon vecchio midnight. Qualcuno ha avuto il mio stesso problema? Aspetterò la final per riprovare il devil

If you want Devil3 kernel use my settings amigo.
Your rebooting because you can´t play around with kernels like that,if you make mistake you´ll reboot all day or break your phone,then papa phone forever.
Be careful what you do,don´t change settings to much in one day



When you take Devil3 kernel stock mb RAM is 378,now you can change to 391 or 403mb RAM

If you take 403mb RAM only video 720 wont work,rest works much faster.By 391mb RAM everything works perfectly.

For 391 mb RAM set number 1,for 403mb RAM set 2 and save it.After that REBOOT phone and there you have it.

After you do that go to NSTools and set these values that i write you don´t now



1st TWEAK : Set ACTIVE SCHEDULER to sio

2nd CPU : SmartassV2,Min CPU freq 100MHZ,Max CPU freq 1200MHZ ---OC value 100%,TARGET LOW 800MHZ,TARGET HIGH 1400MHZ

Put this settings down below

awake ideal freq = 800000
sleep ideql freq = 200000
sleep wake freq = 800000
min CPU load = 75%
max CPU load = 45%
ramp down step = 100000
ramp up step = 100000
down rate = 99000
up rate = 24000


3rd go to SETTING

click on SET ON BOOT
click Use init.d script

save the settings

last reboot phone


Everytime you charge your phone it will be faster and faster,no lag no Fc,smooth as shit bro

Mah... Io ho usato il devil per una settimana con la tsunami e da un paio di giorni con questa e sinceramente sinora non ho riscontrato problemi, anzi... A volte quando prendo in mano il telefono ho sempre l'impressione che sia spento da quanto è freddo, mentre con la tsunami dopo 5 minuti di browser ci potevo cuocere sopra due uova. Cmq con devil mai avuto un reboot. Non è che per caso ti sei fatto prendere la mano da qualche settaggio estremo, o non hai fatto i wipes come si deve? Ipotizzo, ovviamente. Il kernel devil, di per sé, è quanto più si avvicina al kernel nativo, quindi in teoria dovrebbe essere il più stabile.

Thank you for answer halfman, I used your settings for the first time, then I wanted to find the best combination for my needs.
Henceforth I'll play a little less with the settings of the kernel, I want to keep alive my SGS!!!
