ATTENZIONE:
Se con il siyah si fa un ripristino dati di fabbrica da menù impostazioni il telefono si blocca e non si riesce a fare più niente... Entra solo in download mode e si può solo flashare un firmware... Niente di irreparabile, basta flashare un firmware.

L'altro problema è delle app Samsung, essendo un pacchetto che si estrae ed istalla autonomamente alla prima configurazione, con il siyah se si fa il wipe data si cancellano; polaris office, per esempio, non lo puoi trovare nei market, quindi devi riistallare la rom.

RICORDATE COMUNQUE CHE CON IL SIYAH NON CI SONO PROBLEMI DI HARDBRICK

Se comunque avete bisogno di fare un ripristino dati di fabbrica o un wipe data ma non volete perdere le samsung apps allora potete mettere un altro kernel (SpeedWizz, Phenomenal, DM Dharam Maniar....) fare le operazioni che volete e poi rimontare il Siyah

"Requisisti: kernel siyah3.1 rc e rom che lo supportano

-Per fare diventare la vostra rom attuale come secondary e poter così installare una nuova rom che diventerà primary.

Entrare in recovery
troverete una nuova opzione disponibile in CWM per la clonazione della vostra primary ROM come secondary rom(dual-boot option>clone primary rom to secondary)


-Se si desidera avere un nuova ROM come secondary ROM, seguire questi passi:

entrare in recovery
fare un nandbackup della vostra attuale ROM .
wipe cache, data, dalvik cache
installare nuova ROM
Boot ROM e personalizzazioni
Non dimenticate di reflash SiyahKernel se la ROM installa un kernel diverso
entrare in recovery
clonare la vostra rom come secondary rom (dual-boot>clone prymary rom to secondary)
Ripristinare backup nandroid fatto all’inizio.

ricorda che non potri flashare da CWM pacchetti aggiuntivi per la secondary rom.
Pertanto, è importante personalizzare bene prima di fare il clone a secondary rom.
dopo aver creato la secondary rom, ad ogni riavvio avrai 3 secondi per premere il tasto home ed avviare la secondary rom

Alcune note di dualbooting:

se non fate la clonazione non sarà richiesto di avviare la seconda rom.
Si potrebbe aver bisogno di reflash questo kernel dopo un ripristino nandroid se il vostro backup è creato con un altro kernel.
Vi è barra di avanzamento durante il processo di clonazione.
Ci sono alcuni controlli mancanti. Per esempio, se non avete abbastanza spazio nella vostra sdcard interna(avete bisogno 2,1 GB liberi).
Lo swap tra le rom serve per portare la secondary come primary e la primary come secondary in un unico comando per poter così aggiornare con pacchetti zip da recovery la rom che era secondary in partenza"

PER INSTALLARE UNA NUOVA ROM DIRETTAMENTE SULLA SECOND ROM :

-installare il syahkernel dalla versione 3.2b8 in poi*
-come si può leggere dal changelog prima di installare la second rom bisogna fare un format di data e cache a cui si accede da "mount and storage" (no advance Nihil )
-Procedere,una volta terminate le operazioni sopra descritte, ad installare lo zip della rom tramite i comodi comandi nella sezione dual boot options
ECCO DESCRITTA DUNQUE LA MANIERA PIU COMODA E VELOCE PER INSTALLARE LA SECONDA ROM SENZA DOVER FARE IL LENTISSIMO SWIPE TRA PRIMA E SECONDA ROM!!!

Questa è una mini guida per impararne a conoscere le funzioni principali con il kernel Siyah.


CPU: Controlla la CPU

1) Hot-Plug Mode: Il processore ci mette pochi istanti per passare da single a dual core quindi conviene usare entrambi i core.

2) loadl, loadh: Valore in percentuale più basso per passare dal dual core al single e valore più alto per passare dal single al dual. Consigliati: 50 85

3) loadl_scroff, loadh_scroff: Come prima ma abbinato allo schermo spento. Utile per l'utilizzo di bluetooth, wifi/3g downloads, ascolto della musica. Consigliati: 70 100

4) rate, rate_cpuon, rate_scroff: Valore misurato in jiffies. Corrispondono rispettivamente al tempo che il processore deve metterci per passare da una frequenza all'altra, per accendere il secondo core e per le frequenze in screen off. Consigliati: 200 500 1100

5) freq_cpu1on: freq minima per accendere il secondo core. Consigliati: 500mhz se si usa come frequenza massima di CPU 1000mhz; 800mhz se si usa 1200mhz

6) Idle Mode, Sched_mc: Lasciare questi valori invariati cioè 3 e 0.

7) smooth_target, smooth_offset, smooth_step: Controlla il governor facendo in modo che con valori più alti, salga più lentamente alle frequenze superiori. Funziona solo con governor ondemand e conservative. Per non condizionare le attività del governor impostare questi valori a 0. Consigliati: 1 1 1

GPU: Controlla la gpu

1) GPU Frequency Steps: 3 Steps per la frequenza di GPU. Maggiori sono i valori, maggiori saranno i frames. Consigliato: 160 200 267. Batteria: 100 160 200; Performance:200 267 400

2) GPU Voltages: Voltaggi della GPU. è importante considerare gli step che si sono scelti. Ovviamente se si sono scelti steps Performance si useranno voltaggi più alti altrimenti si può scendere ma senza esagerare altrimenti si avranno crash durante l'uso di giochi. Consigliati: 850 950 1000

3) GPU UP and DOWN Thresholds: Valori in percentuale minimi e massimi per passare da uno step all'altro. Dipende dai valori che si sono scelti. Consigliati: 80 40 85 55

4) GPU Stay Counts: Numero di cicli che la gpu fa su un singolo step. Anche qui dipende dagli steps che si sono scelti quindi consiglio di lasciare in ogni caso 1 1 1

SCREEN: Controlla lo schermo

1) Touch Move Sensitivity: controlla la sensibilità dello schermo. Consigliato: 7

2) min_bl, min_gamma, max_gamma: controlla la luminosità. Consigliato: 30 0 20 per una luminosità inferiore(minor consumo di batteria); 20 1 24 per una luminosità maggiore.

MISC: Governor, Scheduler, ecc

1) Backup EFS: Backup di EFS per salvare l'IMEI.

2) Android Logger: Attiva/disattiva logging

3) Default Ondemand Suspend Frequency: massima frequenza da schermo spento.

4) Default CPU Governor: imposta il governor (differenze tra i governor:https://www.androidiani.com/forum/mo...ifferenze.html)

5) Default I/O Scheduler: imposta lo scheduler. Io preferisco sio.(guida scheduler:https://www.androidiani.com/forum/mo....php?p=1327208)

6) Charge Current: Intensità di corrente per caricare il terminale. Consigliato: 1 o 2

7) Reset Fuel Gauge Chip: da usare se avete dei valori anomali della batteria durante l'utilizzo.
