I would also like to write a little FAQ related to some comments i read on xda and on facebook:
Camera and wifi don't work correctly: Camera and wifi drivers are stored on kernel. I see many people having problems with wifi that can't be switched to on (generally with cm10). Re-flashing the kernel, or better, change it will solve the issue
Battery drain: if you give a look on twitter (i just did it today) and search for jellybam, i saw many people posting screenshoot with an insane 2 days battery usage and others reporting problems. Battery draining can be for 20000 reason (Widgets, hidden services ecc) just keep in mind: The most app and tweak you will flash/install/run on your device, more battery will be drainer. Data connection usually drain a lot. Using 2G network or disabling sometimes the google sync will help a lot. Also keep in mind that battery drain is usually related to kernel too. switching to a kernel that satisfait your needs/use of phone is suggested.
Also, some people, without saying name (Xoom68) recently enjoy to spamming/dissing battery life of JellyBam on i9100 thread of xda. Maybe for give him more attenction? don't know! but now you are on JELLYBAM changelog (welcome) so you will be in 2000 website/blog and forums (you got your attenction). and in reply of your dissing i just put in inverted apps (as you know, black drain less battery than white. but you are a dev so you should know that)
General issue with dpi: So, if you can't figure out why your statusbar is too small (talking about n7000, n7100 and i9300 people) (just fixed on 1.0.0) just think that the things that are actually modifying your dpi can be only in /system/build.prop (default dpi) and /etc/paranoid/properties.conf. Editing 2 rows with root explorer is not so hard. Just a tips if you will have any further issue dpi related.
JellyBam with android 4.2: As i already said and i hope everyone will read it now, I'm working (yes, because i'm ALONE, so 1 brain and 2 hands) to port PART of the AOSP google code. Codeworkx just write about CyanogenMod 10.1 (4.2 android) for i9100 and he said that actually the cm10.1 for i9100 is NOT BOOTING. this means lot of works need to be done by team cyano (check theyr gerrit and see that they are really works day and night). As JellyBam like other original/custom rom (paranoid, aokp ecc) are based on cyano WE MUST WAIT FOR THEM for a real full 4.2 android and since most of the apps required shared libraries and permissions from frameworks that are actually a dream NOT ALL THE APPS can actually be ported to 4.1.2. hope i be clear
Samsung apps: it's just unusefull read about people asking for gallery from note2, camera from samsung and multiwindow/ripple lockscreen. since there are devs that are more and more and more and more and more good and prepared than me and they said that it's impossible, i'm not god! one time and hope it will be the last: Actually there isn't ANY CHANCE for having multiwindow, ripple lock and similar stuff from samsung framework. There are tons of 3rd party apps (like popup video that i recently insert in aroma) that will made it. (maybe not the same but be happy with them)
With love
