[Modding] ONDA V975M

Ti consiglio di installare l'ultimo firmware 1.1.0 da microsd.
Ciao

Segui bene le istruzioni che trovi qui ONDA_V975m_V3_v1.1.0_rozak_20140414 - Onda Tablet Forum (validi anche per il firmware ufficiale) e che ti riporto di seguito:
Follow this steps exactly:

1- Extract the .rar file of the ROM. You will get these files:

aml_autoscript
factory_update_param.aml
recovery.img
u-boot.bin
update.zip

2- Put an SD card of size up to 16GB in card reader.

3- Format the SD card with SDFormatter version 4 (hint: run this program as administrator).
You can download it from here: SD Formatter 4.0 for SD/SDHC/SDXC - Tools for Onda v975m - Onda Tablet Forum

4- From the files you extracted in step 1 copy ONLY these files to SD card:

factory_update_param.aml
update.zip

5- Safely remove the SD card from the computer (Very important!).

6- Power off the tablet by pressing <Power> button for 20 seconds.

7- Put the SD card into the tablet's card slot.

8- Press simultaneously AND HOLD the buttons <Power> and <Volume +>.

9- When the green droid appears (or after about 5 seconds if no droid appears) release ONLY <Power> button. Keep pressing <Volume+>.

10- After about 1-3 minutes you will see the big droid with the spinning cube. Now release the <Volume+> button.

11- When the update finishes, the tablet will reboot. As soon as you see the ONDA logo, you are in business.

Fatto.... ora non riparte nemmeno più! non si accende, non va in recovery e non si carica. E' praticamente del tutto morto!!!! :-(
Ora vedo che faranno quelli di Onda.

Come ultima prova puoi provare una clean install sempre da sdcard, che ti crea una microsd di boot, segui queste indicazioni che trovi anche qui ONDA_V975m_V3_v1.1.0_rozak_20140414 - Onda Tablet Forum SEZIONE Case B - Clean install

Follow this steps exactly:

1- Extract the .rar file of the ROM. You will get these files:

4- Make the SD card bootable with SDcardMaker_uboot tool.

IMPORTANT: Select the u-boot.bin from the ROM you extracted in step 1.
Format the card when asked to by the SDcardMaker_uboot. Format must be FAT32 with 32KB cluster size.

5- Copy all the files you extracted in step 1 to SD card.

6- Safely remove the SD card from the computer (Very important!).

7- Power off the tablet by pressing <Power> button for 20 seconds.

8- Put the SD card into the tablet's card slot.

scusa la mia ignoranza....ma non capisco come deve essere formattata la scheda???
Una volta scaricato il programma SD Formatter cosa devo fare?
la mia è già in Versione FAT32

Lanci sdformatter e formatti con le opzioni che ti propone di default anche se è già formattata.

so che ti sto massacrando.... ma non capisco il punto 4!
io ho inserito la card, ho lanciato SDFORMATTER e ho fatto tutto. cosa devo fare con il file u-boot.bin?
era già nella micro sd prima che la formattassi con il programma. devo rimuoverlo ora?

ok ora ho capito! ho rifatto il tentativo come indicato ma zero, non parte neppure con questo nuovo sistema!
speriamo solo in una efficiente assistenza da parte di Onda Tablet.

Ragazzi qualcuno è riuscito a cambiare ROM dalla stane? Vorrei provare il "nuovo" firmware.. (Non mi fa inserire il link ma si trova facilmente su onda forum) ma non so come fare dato che ho la stane

Ma è uscita qualche nuova versione di Rozak? Io sono rimasto a quella di aprile.

No è una ROM ufficiale, su base JB è uscita ora ma non è recentissima
