Allora sei recidivo... :o) devi per forza installare prima la rev 5 e poi lo zip cumulativo che ti porterà alla 5.10...

più che recidivo adesso è cautelativo rotfl
Come scritto in prima pagina (aggiornato di fresco) installa adesso la rev.5 facendo un factory reset (segui la guida "installare custom rom da zip")
e poi installi il pacchetto di aggiornamento.

I confirm that p14 for me is the best baseband so far. Stable , not loosing the signal , good 3g and wireless speed. I wait for p24 too see what is new.

per cuoco sono ripassato alla rev 5 ma gli agg via ota si fermano a 5.4 puoi vedere che succede avevo provato anche ad usare il tuo file velove per passare diretamente a rev 5.10 ma alcune app crashano allora ho dovuto reistanllare da capo la rom

Si volentieri ma mi servono un po più di dettagli...
Tu ora sei fermo alla 5.4 giusto? Che cosa ti impedisce di scaricare la 5.5? Che messaggio di errore ti dà?

i have some problems with upgrading to v5.5 its trying to upgrade but after the upgrade iam still on 5.4 and the phone tries to upgrade again and again....

as there a way that we have a new "master" rom with all the updates included?

I've checked all updates today an there was a problem with 5.5. I'm sorry for that.
So you have to delete the ota cache under System / Applications
Then delete the OTA UPDATER folder then check and download the update again. Let me know if it works :)

On the second page you find a cumulative update from rev5.0 to 5.10

Well, I had often disconnections from bluetooth and as an outcome every few minutes the boomband was trying to reconnect to the s960.
After some searching I found the solution:
I install the new version boombandlife 2.1.2 which is much better and with more options than the 1.1.7 that can be found on the first posts here.
I upload this version with the pdf-manual in order to be posted in the first pages so as to save time from other s960+boomband owners.
instruction tips:
1) uninstall any older boombandlife apk and install this one
2) connect the boomband with the phone
3) from the phone app go to settings==>my devices and do the 2.0.2 firmware update that will update your boomband in a minute.
4) enjoy!

Really thanks for your contribution! Some boomband users noticed the same issues and now it is good to know that problems are related to boomband sw management and not to the phone BT....;O)

Installate CPU SPY, azzerate i contatori delle cpu e controllate se in standby il celll va in deepsleep. Se non ci va allora ci sono dei wakelock! Inoltre se siete in luoghi dove il 3G prende male e il sistema fa continuamente lo switch tra 2G e 3G avrete un consumo nettamente più alto....quindi in questi casi vi consiglio di forzare in 2G only....

e si effettivamente nn và mai totalmente in deep sleep rimane sempre la cpu 0 -1 attiva

Il motivo è quello allora e devi capire quale processo/applicazione ti crea il wakelock....ti preannincio che non è semplicissimo ma ti può essere d'aiuto BetterBatterystats oppure Wakelock Detector....puoi documentarti in Interenet c'è di tutto....

Innanzitutto prova a fare un wipe cache e dalvik da recovery e poi devi monitorare da Betterbattery stat i Partial Wakelock per vedere quali sono in testa come durata....

Hi guys,
I found strange behavior of "Dial pad autocomplete".
When a seek for contact - Pier and dial 7437 it show 74/37 and can't find the contact.
If I delete "/" manually everything is alright.
Every time when I dial the third number is with "/" before it.
Anybody with similar problem?

Actually the Dial pad search should search for both: phone numbers and contact name. It should underline in Yellow the name letters and/or the numbers belonging to specific search. What you said is indeed strange....which language have you set for the phone? Are the numbers saved with international prefix and without "/"?
