HTC spagna dice che i telefoni con froyo riceveranno la nuova htc sense. Se vogliamo essere ottimisti, hanno rimandato l'update per metterci la nuova sense.

il ritardo è sicuramente dovuto alla necessità di aggiornare la sense rispetto a FroYo. la questione è se l'aggiornamento della sense sarà tale da poter girare liberamente anche su Legend garantendo quindi il rilascio di Froyo ufficiale anche per noi...

Si ma una cosa è adattare la sense già compilata per il legend a froyo, una cosa è metterci una sense nuova di zecca. Certamente c'è del lavoro in più da fare.

Cher Wang in persona in una mail (credo in risposta agli auguri che le ho fatto per il suo compleanno), mi ha scritto che ci sta lavorando su e che tra pochi mesi lo butterà fuori. Io di lei mi fido ancora.

A parte gli scherzi, se leggi bene vedi che per il legend e wildfire è solo una loro ipotesi personale, come dire "forse loro che forse riceveranno froyo riceveranno la nuova sense".
Insomma, troppi forse per usare la faccina -->>
Meglio usare la faccina -->> che è così brutta che non si capisce se rida o sia arrabbiata.

Comunque pur essendo fiducioso, preferirei una secca smentita di HTC così avrei l'alibi per "ruttare" a cuor leggero e provare un poche di rom alternative

Ahah no scherzavo, è sbaliato pensare a una sorta di concorrenza tra i siti italiani di android, mica la gente deve scegliere tra uno o l'altro, piazza tutto in google reader e segue più blog. Androidworld poi fa spesso articoli mondo belli.
Comunque, chiusa parentesi, hai ragione sul fatto che sarebbe meglio una secca smentita da subito che un "forse" per mesi per poi spegnersi come col tatoo.
Non mi piace questo atteggiamento di Htc.

Condivido i vostri pensieri ... avrei già roottato il mio legend se non avesse problemi di comunicazione con il pc durante la seconda fase del rooting... dopo 12 ore di prove continue ho abbandonato...ora confido in qualche aggiornamento ufficiale speriamo bene

Orange Mobile UK has finally brought out the Android 2.2 Froyo update for the HTC Desire. Many android users under Orange have been worried over the past few days wondering if the update would ever be re-released after major issue popped out when the Froyo patch came out over a week ago.

While no specific details has been released regarding the true nature of the issue, it has affected several users badly enough to prompt Orange to pull out the patch shortly after making it available. In the meanwhile Vodafone and T-Mobile users are now enjoying the latest version of the Android OS.

Speaking of the Android Froyo, it appears that the new HTC Sense user interface has been designed to work in conjunction with the new Google OS. The Taiwan based phone maker has confirmed that they are already working on releases of the Sense UI for the HTC Legend, HTC Desire and the HTC Wildfire. While not exact release date has been given, it was made clear that the new UI would only be compatible for any of the models as long as they are updated to the Froyo OS.

The new Sense user interface is going to be a pretty useful tool for many people since it will allow users to remotely access their handsets. While this is pretty convenient for anyone who might have accidentally left the device at home, it is even more useful for times when a device is lost or stolen as it allows users to either ring, lock or even completely wipe out the memory on the device.

Lastly, HTC is revealing the final bits of information for the upcoming Windows Phone 7 handset, the HTC HD7. According to the spec sheet that was recently given out, the new device will be coming with a big, 4.3 inch WVGA capacitive TFT touch screen, a 5 mega pixel camera and of course a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU.
