A friend of mine searched for my pf-kernel builds for Ubuntu and found this thread. He gave me the link and I saw that you have some problems. I'm here to help. I don't know italian (but I understand 50% of what you guys say, since our languages are based on latin) and I used Google Translate to translate this thread in english. I hope you guys understand english, or else I'm forced to use Google Translate again, and we all know how good it doesn't translate...

First of all, I'd appreciate if someone names the thread correctly: The name of the kernel is not Big-Bum (with uppercases) but "big-bum". I know this is not a big deal, but that's the correct name. I use this name/username on forums since 2006 (with little variations if big_bum is already taken, like it was now) and I named the kernel after my username.

Second, I see that you use Synapse to setup this kernel. Synapse doesn't play so nice with kernels that have cpu-boost driver. I'd personally recommend you try my version of Kernel Tweaker (https://github.com/StefanescuCristia...kernel-tweaker). It's still a WIP so it lacks some tunables for touch gestures and it crashes when trying to review the boot items, but I didn't forget about it and I hope I will update it soon. So if someone adds it to the first/second post, I'd appreciate that too.

Third.
Bluetooth problems: I've reverted everything for bluetooth stack to the Lollipop 5.0 release. I also compiled it with -O2 (the default set of optimisations). Someone said that's it's better this way, so it stays as is. I was having problems with Bluetooth on stock Lollipop too (I used stock 5.0 for a few days before switched to Optipop) so what I can say is that Bluetooth on Nexus5 really sux.
Lag: Is it laggy all the time or it runs OK and after a while it makes a pause and then it works OK again? Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. I've added a tunable to use the frequency calculator from Code_Blue, so now the governor should respond better to the load. Keep in mind that it can and it will eat your battery in less time than the old calculator. It will be available in the next version.

Ho detto che anche ho avuto problemi con il Bluetooth a stock Lollipop e che la Nexus5 ha conosciuto problemi con BT.

Ho guardato le modifiche per BT nel mio kernel e ritornato tutto a stock. Ho anche compilato con le stock ottimizzazioni del Android.
Nella prossima versione, avremo la stessa BT come stock kernel.

Possibile che il kernel causi wakelock delle app? Oggi tutto mi rimaneva attivo anche se lo chiudevo dai recenti, tipo Tapatalk 3 ore e l'ho usato 20 minuti a pranzo, chrome uguale, secondo voi? Prima non succedeva

colpa delle app? Anche Instagram 1 ora e mezza sempre il segnale rete cellulare, e di sincronizzazione ho solo whatzapp. Ho bloccato nella app anche i dati app da utilizzo dati in impostazioni

The kernel doesn't know what apps you have installed, it just does what Android / the app says to do.
And it doesn't seem that it's a wakelock generated by CPU, but one generated from the radio.

If you have low signal or no connection to mobile data, and the app is set to sync itself, then it will keep the phone awake until it manages to sync. (Not always, but this is how it was in the past)

You can install WakeLock Detector from PlayStore and see what/why is the phone awake.

E non pare che è un wakelock generato dalla CPU, ma quello generato dalla radio.

Se si dispone di segnale basso o nessun collegamento a dati mobili, e l'applicazione è impostato per sincronizzare se stesso, poi sarà tenere il telefono sveglio fino a quando riesce a sincronizzare. (Non sempre, ma questo è il modo era in passato)

È possibile installare WakeLock Detector dal PlayStore e vedere cosa / perché è la sveglio del telefono.

I'd like to make you a question @big0bum, i tried your kernel (because i see a lot of positives review about battery and also because i used franco in the past when it was updated a lot) but unfortunately i hadn't a great experience.
The main problem was with wifi (high trafficated wifi, where some times other devices send packets all over the network to keep the connection alive), when i connect to the wifi of my company here at work with your kernel i have a lot of wlan_rx wakelock, i tried also to disable ipv6 (that generally is the cause of this type of wakelock) but unfortunately nothing changed...and then i reverted to Uber Kernel that hasn't the problem that i described (i mentioned also you in a post on uber kernel's thread...now i don't know if there are optimization in that kernel that filter the packets (or something like that) but i want to acknowledge you of this problem...in this way maybe you can fix this...and for the lag also i had some with your kernel (and also some audio problems but maybe this is something on my side).
I asked here because maybe you read the thread better...on XDA there are a lot of posts (and of course i'm italian and i follow also Androidiani)

Mi piacerebbe farti una domanda, ho provato il tuo kernel (in quanto ho visto un sacco di impressioni positive riguardo la batteria e anche perchè ero un utilizzatore del franco kernel) ma sfortunatamente non ho avuto ottimi riscontri. Il problema principale era con il wifi (in particolare wifi altamente trafficate dove alcune volte alcuni devices inviano pacchetti nella rete per mantenere la connessione attiva) infatti quando mi collego alla rete della mia azienda ho tanti wlan rx wakelock, ho provato anche a disabilitare l'ipv6 ( che generalmente causa questo problema) ma sfortunatamente nulla è cambiato, dunque sono tornato all'Uber kernel che non ha questo problema (ti ho anche citato nel thread dell'Uber su XDA) adesso non so se nel kernel Uber ci sono delle ottimizzazioni che filtrano i pacchetti (o qualcosa del genere) ma volevo solo avvisarti di questo problema, così puoi fixarlo, per quanto riguarda i lag anche io ne ho avuti col tuo kernel (ed anche qualche problema con l'audio ma probabilmente questo è un problema della mia rom).
Ti ho fatto la domanda qui poichè forse leggi meglio il thread (in virtù delle poche pagine) su XDA invece ci sono tanti post (ed ovviamente ho scritto qui anche perchè sono italiano e seguo Androidiani).

I can understand short text and if I don't I'll use Google Translate. I'm romanian, we were under the influence of the Roman Empire for some time in our past, so our languages share some words and how some words sound, but I don't know how to write in italian.
I don't watch Uber's thread closely and I didn't get the notification if you mentioned me there, but I watch the XDA and this thread closely.

Regarding Wireless: Uber has three commits in the wireless driver. (https://github.com/Cl3Kener/UBER-L/c...ireless/bcmdhd) We only had the middle one. I merged the other 2. Let's see if that fixes your problems.
Regarding lag: I will release a version with a tunable for interactive gov which will enable a way to choose the frequency based on load, not on time. It has been done in original Franco interactive and in Code_Blue blu_active.
Regarding sound: In the past versions I merged the sound changes from CM. I didn't like those so I reverted the sound patches. We have stock Franco sound since V3 or V4. Can you tell me what kind of problems you had with the sound?

Posso capire il testo breve e se non lo faccio, io utilizzare Google Translate. Sono rumeno, eravamo sotto l'influenza dell'impero romano da qualche tempo nel nostro passato, così i nostri linguaggi condividono alcune parole e come alcune parole suonano, ma non so come scrivere in italiano.
Non guardo discussione di Uber strettamente ed non ho avuto la notifica se mi ha citato lì, ma guardo il XDA e questo discussione stretto contatto.

Quanto concerne Wireless: Uber ha tre commits nel driver wireless. (https://github.com/Cl3Kener/UBER-L/c...ireless/bcmdhd) Abbiamo avuto solo quello centrale. Ho fuso gli altri 2. Vediamo se questo risolve i vostri problemi.
Quanto concerne lag: Io rilasciare una versione con un settaggio per il gov interattivo che consentirà un modo per scegliere la frequenza base al carico, non in tempo. E 'stato fatto in originale Franco interattivo e in Code_Blue blu_active.
Quanto concerne il suono: Nelle versioni precedenti ho fuso il suono cambia da CM. Non mi piacciono quelli così sono ritornato le patch di suoni. Abbiamo stock Franco suono dal V3 o V4. Mi puoi dire che tipo di problemi si avuto con il suono?
