Guida al Root del Nexus 7

ASUS NEXUS 7 TOOLKIT AUTO UPDATE V5.0.0 [01ST MAY 2013] AVAILABLE!!

Changelog:
+Added Universal driver pack from koush for adb/fastboot drivers [including Win8]
+Updated CWM Touch Recovery to latest version [6.0.3.1]
+Updated TWRP Touch Recovery to latest version [2.5.0.0]
+Updated initialisation and improved some procedures

For people who do not want or cannot get the Auto Update versions you can download 4.2.2 from Goo.im Downloads - Browsing stock and flash it via the Toolkit. You can download CWM 6.0.3.1 and TWRP 2.5.0.0 from Goo.im Downloads - Browsing google_nexus7 and flash it via the Toolkit. You can also update the adb/fastboot files for 4.2.2 by downloading Goo.im Downloads - Downloading adb_fastboot_files_for_4.2.2.zip and overwriting the files. SuperSU can be updated to the latest version from the app.

The full public build of V5.0.0 will follow tomorrow or Friday at the latest.

[Auto Updates are only accessible if you have donated to the Toolkit project, received an activation code and unlocked the professional features. Auto Updates are a much faster and easier way of pushing small updates that would otherwise not be worth doing. I can push a single textual change or add support for a new build without having to go through the whole process of building a full version and uploading a large file. IF you are not able to or do not want to donate to unlock the Auto Update feature (and other professional features) then all the smaller updates are collated and a full build made when I have time or if there are enough updates to warrant it. This is the easiest way to make sure all the Toolkits are as up to date as possible. IF you have any views about this please email me at toolkit.support@skipsoft.net about them and do not post in the open thread]

+FULL Support upto JellyBean 4.2.2 (all models)
+Added model zip file download system after model selection to reduce download size
+Default driver installation is now koush’s Universal driver pack which works upto and including Windows 8
+Check md5 of stock image to make sure downloaded file isn’t corrupted before flashing
+Downloaded stock image file is copied to the ‘backups’ folder before flashing for future use
+Added adb sideload for auto flashing zip files
+All stock images now downloaded from goo.im so the link won’t be broken if google delete the file
+Latest CWM and TWRP Recovery images included
+Lots more minor improvements and changes to nearly all procedures

C'è un modo per fare il root senza sbloccare il bootloader?
Non vorrei perdere tutti i dati.
Non che abbia chissà che me è un po' una scocciatura.
(Foto e musica rimarrebbero comunque, vero? Si perdono solo i dati delle app, no?)

In realtà è lo sblocco del bootloader che cancella i dati

Tutto quello in /sdcard rimane, i dati delle app e le app si perdono.

+Added Clockworkmod Root 1.0.1.8 to replace ChainsDD method for better support
ALL root methods in the Toolkit now include Clockworkmod Superuser method
+Added TWRP NAND backup/restore procedures to backup/restore section
+FIXED all NAND backup/restore procedures so locations are detected by recovery
+Added Sideload another zip file whilst in Recovery to save time [user request]
+Added Toolkit Hard Reset option in Toolkit Settings screen

Scegli quella raccomadata e quindi la 2 ma...
... vuoi fare solo il root ?

Potresti invece fare tutto scegliendo nel menu generale la opzione 8

il nexus l'ho preso usato e prima del root o fatto lo sblocco...o meglio il toolkit mi ha detto che era già sbloccato..non so nemmeno se il root è stato già fatto.come lo capisco?
