Ho provato anche io ad installare la 12s stessi problemi come descritti sopra , e luncher stock che andava di continuo in crash . volevo vedere se cera qualche novità in questo nuovo aggiornamento rilasciato pero' più che aggiornamento mi sembra peggioramento (forse per noi che siamo in Europa) .

Da quello che leggo in questa 12S ci sono più problemi che migliorie...e la cosa non mi stupisce perché secondo me letv si sta concentrando su Mashmallow che immagino prima a poi faranno uscire....di certo non mi metterò a risolvere i problemi da loro introdotti...

In effetti, se ci fate caso, la 012S per X500 non è altro che la "copia" della 011S di X800, come dimostra la traduzione dei changelog fatta con Google:

Mi sa tanto che la 012S sia quello che doveva essere la 011S per X500 che era stata tolta dai server cinesi per problemi vari... per cui la 12S non è un vero e proprio aggiornamento, ma quasi un tamponare una falla precedente, per cui adesso ci sono X900-X800 con la 11S e X500 con la 12S, ma alla fine le rom sono identiche, o quasi, Lollipop 5.0.2 e con i problemi noti...

Qui urge un passaggio a Marshmallow, peraltro @BB72 per me ha ragione, è inutile diventare matti a correggere problemi della 12S inseriti dai cinesi se poi uscirà Android 6.0.1.

Non vorrei sbagliarmi, ma io penso due cose:
- primo, se i programmatori LeEco rimangono "solo" finalizzati al mercato cinese la situazione per noi europei è nelle mani di modder quali @BB72, @Cuoco92 e pochi altri, perchè senza di loro i LeEco rimangono telefoni non completamente fruibili, a patto di compromessi;
- secondo, credo che sia più conveniente ed utile, sempre per noi europei, FORSE, seguire il filone della rom per il modello indiano X507, che funziona bene, è stabile, non ha alcuna cineseria ed anche lì, credo, sia arrivata all 12S... Io monto la moddata di @BB72 della 008S per X507 e non ho mai avuto un problema che fosse uno, l'unica cosa, che non dipende da @BB72 ovvio, è la pessima qualità della fotocamera.

Avendo la 008S indiana moddata da @BB72 ho fatto un nandroid backup con TWRP per non perdere nulla, scaricata la 012S appena uscita e provata ad installare. Mi da errore nel flash, in quanto dice che cerca il modello X3_HK e trova il modello X3 (ossia, il primo X507, il secondo X500 cinese che ho io).
Risultato: ho ripristinato il backup (santa TWRP ) ed aspetto come tutti @BB72 ed anche per me addio rom cinese.
Questa, ribadisco, è l'ancora di salvezza per noi europei: la rom indiana! Almeno che con Marshmallow la EUI 6.0 cambi approccio e venga pensata anche per i mercati extra-Cina.

Mi sorge una dubbio: ma flashando la 012S indiana la banda 800 rimane o verrà automaticamente eliminata? Se nn fosse presente sarà da fare un fare un downgrade con il file della banda 800 di BB72.
Spero qualcuno mi possa rispondere in merito. Grazie in anticipo!

Bisogna modificare lo script di installazione. Vedo se posso così farò un test....
