Regarding bootloader:
- There are three possibilities: V20 bootloader, V30 bootloader and V30 UNLOCKED bootloader.
- Original V30 bootloader comes LOCKED to avoid the use of custom recoveries, as CWM.
- If you have a working CWM, YOU DON'T HAVE A ORIGINAL V30 BOOTLOADER.
- In last case, you don't know if your bootloader is V20 or V30 unlocked, well...
- The only possible reasons why you can have an unlocked v30 bootloader are:
-- You have instaled a Tamtrum's ROM with the new unlocked bootloader.
-- You have followed the thread to flash it... In this case you have to remember it!!!!!
- If you come from IZS v0.4, you have an older V20 bootloader.
- .... I have CWM but I don't know anything.... V20 or V30?
-- Power off the phone
-- Press and hold VOL+ and G-key
-- Holding both keys, press power.
-- If you go to CWM, you are on unlocked v30
-- If you go to the ROM, you are on v20.
Why do we want the new unlocked bootloader? Because it brings the possibility to access CWM from power off... so if you have a problem and your kernel/ROM is unbootable... you can access CWM to restore a nandroid! In the past, with gRecovery or eRecovery... you NEEDED a working kernel and ROM to access CWM... at least until the moment of shut the trigger... if you didn't get the trigger, your phone was bricked and you had to flash it with Smartflash!!!
