Incollo quello che ho trovato io..

actually working on it right now.
got a nandroid backup and now I have 4.0.4 on my wife's phone.
I have 4 hours, counting down
it works on 4.0.4 (flashed without pit & data partition)
but I have the camera problem.
the first thing I tried was sgs3 sources and update7 sources unmodified but they don't seem to fix it.

this is quite true.
in the sources I compile for s2, I disable CAP_ERASE but Samsung does not disable it sometimes. I do not understand their reason. maybe they are trying to brick all the potentially brickable devices and replace motherboards before they close the production line
you are responsible of searching for/testing if CAP_ERASE is disabled or not...

for the update: I could not get the cam running by mixing&matching different sources. we had the same problem when I rebased my sources on korean kernel and then entropy told me that there are some fimc related changes which prevents the camera to work. so, I thought that changes would help this time but they did not. I tried different versions (update5, update7 and sgs3) either I had a FC or working cam with black screen.
so, I will have to wait for the next source drop for that.

I made some changes on the kernel.
tungstwenty sent me a really good patch about wakelocks.
you will be able to track the deleted wakelocks.
I cherry-picked wifi driver and changes from cm9. also enabled/disabled some config options. some of them were to get exfat working but then I changed my mind and gave it up because it can cause some license problems to run those modules on s2. and also there are some tiny tini tweaks in pegasusq...
oh and linux 3.0.36... (means not much but some of you care about it as I receive a lot of pms requesting merges with the mainstream)
I am planning to release it tomorrow because I want to test it a little and see if there is any problem.
