hi,

Hi people.
Two days ago I had a serious brick after upgrading to 3.09. I followed BB72 advice and reinstalled stock 3.09 after having upgraded to beta1 in order to reformat internal partitions. Those partitions are still at 2.13 since 3.08beta1 do not touch them.
However something was WRONG and I completely bricked my z7 max. No bootloader, no recovery, no download mode. After some heavy investigation, I managed to recover from scratch my phone. Those are steps after many trial and run:
1- Forget about Windows 8. Use Windows 7
2- battery fully loaded.
3- Nubia USB cable.
4- remove sims and TF card.
Synthoms:
No download mode. No recovery. No boot.
Windows recognizes a QHUSB_BULK device or an "unidentified USB device". Nothing else.
procedure:
- Download nubia updater V2(first post)
- Download stock rom 3.09/3.08/2.13/1.64. I used 3.09
- Download Qualcomm 2012 drivers (search google)
- I assume zTE drivers were already loaded (from autorun.exe first time you plug your phone)
0- turn on your phone (black screen) by pressing for 20 seconds vol up+vol down + power or until USB is recognized.
1- install Qualcomm drivers for your QHUSB_BULK device. You will have to override certified driver warning.
2- your port will become USB Diagnostic port COM6
3- press vol up + vol down + power for About 20 seconds until your windows recognises COM6 port. It's possible it will also detect a lot of partitions. Wait for all to be detected.
4- open nubia updater and proceed with rom install.
5- if fails, unplug, plug, press three buttons and try again flashing. Do as many times until process finish. Remember use Windows 7 + Nubia USB cable + battery loaded.
5.5 - if process passes recovery but don't finish (fails on system.img flashing) you could eventually boot into download mode (vol down + power) and install TWRP and recover form backup. When using Raygloble tool press CTRL+C to skip ADB phase. This is optional only if you want to restore from backup.
6- eventually ROM will be loaded again and your phone will be fully recovered.
7- restore IMEI/Blutooth/wifi settings from Nubia updater as show in BB72 notes.
8- reinstall recovery TWRP
Remember: do no enter panic. It is almost impossible to fully brick your phone.
P.D: I think this will work for z7 mini also.

1 allegato(i)
Buongiorno e buona domenica.

Non penso che xposed funzioni. :/

....Welcome to lollipop. ..; 0)....

Grazie
