Google Home dopo l’update diventa Google Now Launcher

Durante le ultime ore Google ha ufficialmente aggiornato molte delle proprie applicazioni per Android, anche il nuovo launcher che troviamo a bordo dell'LG Nexus 5, ovvero Google Home. Nell'ultimo update di Search sembra sia stato incluso un nuovo cambiamento per il launcher di BigG, a partire dal nome, che cambia in Now Launcher.

Dopo questo grande aggiornamento sembra essere tutto pronto per l’arrivo ufficiale sul Google Play Store del launcher realizzato in casa da BigG, attualmente una sola esclusiva del Nexus 5.

Come potete notare, sembra che sia possibile anche importare icone, cartelle ed impostazioni del launcher precedente anche sul nuovo Now Launcher.

Ciò non può far altro che farci pensare all’arrivo entro poco tempo sul Play Store per molti altri device. Ecco il changelog ufficiale:

  • Bug fixes and performance improvements
  • New Google Now Launcher name with splash screen on start up
  • 6 columns on tablet home screens (up from 5)
  • AirBNB reservations in Google Now
  • Fixes disappearing icon in the hotseat bug
  • Hotword detection now works in British and Canadian English
