Sono curioso ank'io di questa cosa perchè ho riscontrato i tuoi stessi problemi per quanto riguarda i contatti.

Ciao a tutti,
ho installato viber, ma non riesce a caricare i contatti che hanno viber dalla rubrica. C'è qualcosa da fare? Ho già disinstallato e reinstallato, inserito il codice, spento e riavviato.

Please make sure that Viber is the cause for the battery drain. We conduct strict testing in our labs with several devices and othen than when making a call (when it is natural for the battery to be used), we did not came across any significant battery drain when Viber was simply running in the background. Furthermore, over the course of over 15 hours, on average the battery use was only 2%.

i've just updated the new version. for now i can't check for new contacts problem because i haven't new contact. (you should think also a version for symbian, IMHO. )
i think the app is improving but i suggest to fix the call's quality because without wifi is really bad and it's impossible to call and understand something. and to add for example smiley, the timing for each message and to check if the contact is on line, even if i saw the new function : "contact is typing".

yes we have both 2.1.1 but the other one wasn't using wifi connection.

So at the moment inside your Viber contact list, you can see all the contacts who have Viber, and everything works fine?

It's a known issue and we're currently working to fix that.
We have release Viber version no. 2.1.1 with major bug fixes and 2.1.2 is on it's way :)
