I had a problem again with the contacts. i changed my address book from SIM to Telephone Memory and now contacts in Viber disappeared. The only way to fix it is to settle again the SIM memory in the address book.
Previously i copied all the contacts from SIM to Telephone. The only thing i changed is the image for each contact.
Is there a way to fix it? Because is very annoying, Viber doesn't work and also a blue message of error appears and the telephone crashes.

We are not familiar with this problem, but we will certainly check it.
Please explain again what were the steps you took in order to create the bug, and then what were the exact steps that helped you fix it.
Also - I'm not sure I quite understood what do the images have to do with this issue. You said you switched ALL your contacts' content from SIM to Telephone Memory, then you said that the only thing that you moved was the images. Can you please clarify?

Also - what device do you have, which OS version, and do you have a custom ROM or not?

Sorry for my English maybe I'm not so clear, I'll try to explain every step better.
I have a Galaxy S with 2.3.4 OS no ROM and the last version of Viber.
I decided to set an image for each contact in my rubric, but to do that you have to chance, in the phone, the rubric memory.
I was using my SIM memory rubric that doesn't allow to have an image for the contacts. So I copied all the numbers in my phone memory rubric. And after that I opened Viber and it started to crash. The contact list in Viber disappeared for few minutes than appeared again with the new image. And then the program automatically closed with a message of error. When it's open was very slow.
I tried to solve the problem erasing all the telephone rubric in the phone and settling again the SIM as the main rubric.
I don't know if the problem was caused by the image for the contacts or both image and telephone rubric change.

The problem is, allegedly, only when you switch your contacts to Telephone Memory?

Did you try rebooting your phone after you switch to Telephone Memory? Is Viber still slow?

Salve ragazzi! Ho un problema con Viber: in 3G funziona perfettamente ma appena il telefono si aggancia ad una connessione in wifi l'applicazione si disconnette e smette di funzionare.
So che una connessione wifi esclude il traffico dati in 3G ma quale potrebbe essere il problema?

If your using a WiFi connection, and the router is behind a firewall and you cant use Viber because of this, please have the systems administrator go to the WiFi firewall settings to make sure that the below ports are open for both sides:

1) TCP 5242

2) TCP 4244

3) UDP 5243

4) UDP 9785

Salve a tutti, io sono nuovo di qui. Mi chiamo Luca.
Possiedo un HTC Desire HD e ieri dal market ho scaricato viber per android.
Tutto ok avendolo usato ieri ed andava tutto regolare fino a quando
questa mattina accendo il telefono e non mi trovo più i contatti viber.
Come mai..?? Il Viber da me installato è la versione 2.1.2.
