I am not sure I fully understood your question, but I will try to help: even when Viber is closed (shut off), it should still remain available for calls and messages, since it uses the C2DM service (operated by Google).

I have uninstalled Viber app,but my contact appears like available,and if someone call me,phone rings free to them but my phone doesn't ring.

Deleting Viber (as opposed to deactivating) makes it impossible to us (technically) to know whether or not that user intends to reinstall Viber later, or plans to stop using it altogether. This is why there is a wait of 45 days during which if we see no activity on the account, it is automatically deleted, and only then you will stop appearing as a Viber user to your contacts.

The instant way to do it, however, is to deactivate Viber instead of uninstalling it. This is done through the "More" tab inside Viber.

Scusate, ma su viber a me non vibra il cell né all'arrivo di chiamate né di messaggi mentre per tutte le altre applicazioni la vibrazione funziona... è normale? Come posso fare?

Ciao a tutti,
ho un lg p500 ( O1 con rom originale con permessi di root) ho notato che Viber (v. 2.2.3) utilizza circa 91 mb di memoria (impostazioni-applicazioni-processi in esecuzione), mentre su un lg e510 (hub) non supera i 40 mb di memoria, tutto questo si traduce nel fatto che, sul p500 la batteria che prima durava mediamente 36/48 ore, ora non arriva a 24 ore, pur rimanendo invariato l'utilizzo.
C'è qualche impostazione che dovrei verificare?
E' normale un assorbimento di questo tipo?
Nei vostri cellulari quanta memoria utilizza?

Purtroppo è così. Dall'aggiornamento ad ICS in poi Viber consuma tanta batteria. E non fatevi ingannare se nel co sumo batteria magari lo trovate con appena il 2 o 3%.... con Viber installato le "applicazioni di base android" (android core apps) a fine giornata arrivano da sole anche al 20% di consumo. Basta fare una prova.
P.S.: l'ho sostituito con Freepp che funziona pure meglio! ;)
