GUIDA all'utilizzo del PVS & CPU Binning

Il CPU Binning:

Il CPU Binning è un processo inevitabile, che vi piaccia o meno, avviene già in fase di produzione, essendo impossibile dare a tutti i SoC un silicio di uguale purezza e qualità è inevitabile che alcuni SoC siano "migliori" per il modding di altri. Fortunatamente Qualcomm analizza ogni processore e gli da un valore, il PVS, nel caso dello Snapdragon 600 va da 0 a 6, più è alto il numero, più sarà possibile undervoltare e overclockare aggressivamente.



Che PVS ho?

Fortunatamente HTC si è comportata in maniera impeccabile in questo caso (cosa che samsung non ha fatto, nascondendo nel vero senso della parola il PVS).
Esistono molte guide, tutte più o meno funzionanti, ma io raccomando questa perché è l' unica sicura al 100%



Requisiti:

-Permessi di ROOT
-Un qualsiasi kernel custom dovrebbe andare, ma quelli funzionanti da me testati sono il kernel di tbladen (teamseven kernel) per la Sense 4.2.2 ed ElementalX. Il Bulletproof sembra non andare
-ES File Explorer (usate questo, per qualche strana ragione gli altri file manager hanno spesso dei problemi, ovviamente non li ho testati tutti)



Procedura:

-Muovetevi con ES, dopo avergli dato il ROOT explorer tramite l' apposito tastino nelle impostazioni, in "/sys/kernel/debug/acpuclk/pvs_bin" ed eseguite quest' ultimo come un file di testo.
-Dirmi che PVS avete

Se non funzionasse (caso raro) ce ne sarebbe un altra, ma spesso da problemi:

Andate su terminale ed eseguite i seguenti comandi (richiede superuser e busybox):

1) adb shell
2) su
3) dmesg | grep acpuclk

A questo punto dovrebbe uscirvi una stringa in cui compare la parola PVS seguita da un numero, quel numero è il vostro PVS. Ogni tanto questa guida non funziona però.

Con la 4.3 è possibile solo con lo swipe verso destra.

E' stata rimessa l'opzione per disabilitare il "3-dot menu"
