"We are having some issues with new test ROM. Some of the testers are trying to boot. New ROM, must be installed in EXT4 partition, so meta-inf was said to mount RFS while ROM was prepared to boot in EXT4, maybe here our issues with dalvik. I sended new meta-inf to testers, and Im waiting his report.
Im in contact with developer on SGY and here Ill make u an update of what we are working, fix camera, yes. That its much more difficult than we thought, we though that the error was in format YUV - RGB, but actually seems that our problem is more related to HW drivvers. Not the display one (the one broadcom provide us) tje libstatgefright. Actuallyy samsung is using froyo libs for devices with GB on it. The problem is that the stock libstatgefright call those libs in some moment of the processing. Libstatgefright from CM is diferent from stock and necessary to have it to run CM7, so we can not just replace the lib. What we need to do its find out whem those froyo libs are called and modify libstatgefright source to call them same as stock. Problem? Same as HW drivers. We can not revert engineer yet, so we must hack the code, which is nearly impossible, samsung modify libstatgefright, and they didnt provide us source of it, making video encoding/decoding impossible -> camera preview, recording video amd HQ videosa (youtube and gallery) we are really bad lucky. We will do our best to solve this issue, but thats really dificult."
