HTC One X: Android 4.1 Jelly Bean arriverà ad Ottobre

Non solo Samsung è a lavoro per perfezionare gli aggiornamenti ufficiali ad Android 4.1 Jelly Bean per i propri dispositivi di fascia alta. Ad Ottobre, così come i possessori di Galaxy S III, anche coloro in possesso di un One X potranno aggiornare il sistema all'ultima distribuzione. Il roll-out inizierà per i modelli no-brand ed entro le festività natalizie il produttore taiwanese assicurò che anche i singoli operatori telefonici rilasceranno l'aggiornamento software.

Ottobre mese di grandi cambiamenti anche per HTC One X. Ogni singolo mercato riceverà l’update ufficiale a Jelly Bean in periodi differenti ma entro la fine del mese tutti i modelli no-brand dovrebbero essere aggiornati.

La comunicazione non è ancora ufficiale ma arriva da una fonte affidabile, cioè Paul O’Brien, il celebre fondatore di MoDaCo, perciò dovremo ancora attendere l’ufficialità.

Per quanto riguarda gli altri dispositivi della famiglia One non sono pervenute altre notizie; il One X+ sarà distribuito con Jelly Bean a bordo, invece per quanto riguarda One S ed il piccolo One V tutto tace.

“Are you using a HTC One X and eagerly awaiting Jelly Bean? Well, we have news on HTC’s rollout plans for Google’s latest and greatest.

If you’re using a generic device you don’t have too long to wait… HTC will be starting the rollout in October for generic devices with rollout to all devices (including operator branded units) set for completion before Christmas (subject to operator / Google approvals etc. of course).

The forthcoming One X+ will ship with Jelly Bean ‘out of the box’ as will the One XL destined for EE.

Unfortunately we don’t have schedules for the One S yet, but we’ll keep you posted if we hear anything!”
