Il Nexus 10 monterà questo nuovo SoC con clock ad 1,7 GHz e GPU Mali-T604. Ma come si potrebbe realmente comportare se confrontato ai migliori chipset attualmente in circolazione?
Ecco una comparativa dei risultati ottenuti dal nuovo chipset del produttore sud-coreano, purtroppo all’appello manca il potentissimo quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro di Qualcomm che tecnicamente rispecchia una giusta via di mezzo tra i Cortex-A9 ed i Cortex-A15, diciamo una soluzione made in Qualcomm.
Piccola premessa: per i tre test i risultati devono essere letti diversamente; per SunSpider il risultato più basso è il migliore per i restanti il migliore è il risultato maggiore.

Come avrete facilmente notato il nuovo Exynos 5 Dual batte tutti i rivali e purtroppo manca la vera sfida con l’S4 Pro che potrebbe decretare il miglior SoC attualmente in commercio.
É doveroso sottolineare che i test non sono stati effettuati su Nexus 10 e quindi i risultati potrebbero variare ed inoltre questi valutano solamente i test JavaScript. Perciò possiamo considerare un test incompleto e che certamente non ci mostra le potenzialità del nuovo tablet Google bensì solamente del suo Exynos 5 Dual.
Samsung ha inoltre deciso di realizzare una nuova piattaforma di sviluppo basata appunto su questo processore e la sua GPU per uno sviluppo completo in tutti i suoi aspetti.
