Anybody tried to encrypt phone? I tried and it does not work. Stuck on Android logo for hours. Interruption by switching it off and then on does not damage the system, though.

the fix is not kernel related
just add this line in your boardconfig.mk and compile

TARGET_INIT_UMOUNT_AND_FSCK_IS_UNSAFE := true

Thank you, that worked perfectly! Any chance you can share your new twrp build (3.0.3)? I'm trying to build it with nougat sources but getting errors about busybox. With toybox I can build it but it is not working reliably with some zips.

sure, I just need to do few more test before release the device tree
btw, I use the toybox and and I suggest you to compile the recovery in eng mode, not in userdebug (compiled in userdebug the backup stuck at the end of the process in "updating partition details")

Thanks for quick response, I have make one call that last 18mins... and the 3rd party say... now is far more better... although my voice is a bit distort as robot )may be caused by the network) I will try to test it more soon and report back.
