Se hai installato la 3.10 stock, puoi tranquillamente Installare il nuovo firmware senza fare il factory reset.
Se invece hai ancora una delle versioni 1.xx allora ti consiglio di fare un Wipe dei dati.
Con Titanium Backup risparmi sicuramente molto lavoro 😉

speriamo che Zte ci metta una pezza per chi usa la doppia sim lavoro/casa è una gran rottura.

Sicuramente se fai il backup da recovery e poi la ributti su è come se tu non avessi fatto nessun factory reset ma solo un wipe delle caches. :D
Purtroppo non ho esperienza con titanium backup, io di solito riconfiguro il cell ogni volta (ho poca roba da fare), meglio se aspetti qualcun altro per queste info

Procedo con titanium Seguirà Factory e install nuova 3.10

mi sa che hai ragione perché salva anche dalvik etc ma basterebbe non selezionarli forse ...ma onde evitare casini...
Se provi Titanium non lo abbandoni più : nonostante la sua interfaccia tutt'altro che friendly è di una praticità estrema nel ricostruire il telefono senza attendere i download dal playstore...

Ma quell'opzione ci dovrebbe essere. Se premi sul toggle "Dati mobili" hai la possibilità di connetterti con la Sim 1, 2 oppure disattivare la connessione per entrambe 😉

Vero, non avevo mai provato, solo attivato la connessione dati sulla seconda SIM ed in automatico spegneva la stessa nella prima...
Disattivandola su quella attiva invece spegne la connessione dati... Grazie

First of all, thank you very much for your great work, specially to Cuoco92. I have recently purchased a ZTE Nubia Z9 mini and as far as I know, yours is the best forum to get information and development about our smartphone. Particularly, I am testing this last multilanguage ROM and it works really well. Until now, I am really happy about its performance.

My main issue is not directly related with this version. I had a bootloop some days ago. Although I finally managed to recover my Nubia, I have lost the wifi and bluetooth connectivity. I have tried to solve this flashing different ROMs (official v1.16, v1.19 and 3.10, cuoco's multilanguage 1.19 and 3.10, miui and cyanogenmod), always previously wiping data, dalvik and cache (in some occasions I wiped even system and all storage). I feel very lost as I have been searching in different forums and I haven't found any solution. I'm trying to flash a backup that I have found in the internet, but I'm not very confident about if it will work. Does anybody know any solution?

Hi, if you have wiped all the partition (first of all the system one) and you have the same problem (no wifi and bluetooth connectivity) I think it is a problem HW related... but if you can show us what kind of error you have when you go into Settings -> Wifi and Settings -> Bluetooth is better.

you can't activate it? Even pressing on the toggles? Then you have to flash the persist.img through fastboot to restore it 😉

Thank you for your fast response, S3pHiroTh83. The problem is directly that the wifi and the bluetooth never are on. When I push the switch it moves to on, but the system doesn't respond and I haven't access even to the advanced options (at the bottom of the screen). It's not a matter of finding wireless networks. The problem is that my Z9 is not supporting the wifi and bluetooth connectivities. I will try to make some screen captures in a few minutes (I am trying to flash an external backup right now).

That's exactly what happens, Cuoco92. Thank you very much. I didn't know which partition I had to flash to solve the problem. Do you know where I could find this persist.img and how to flash it? Is it included in the custom ROM?

No it'isnt included. To flash it is very simple, and it can be done through recovery, with a zip patch too.
You have to find a full firmware with img partitions. Or maybe, someone can dump it for you. I don't have a z9 mini phone, so I can't dump any partition. I didn't know if the persist from z7 mini will works on z9. It would be very risky 😅

Would it be possible to do a backup of the persist partition in other Z9 mini using TWRP and then use the restore tool to flash it?? When you are going to do the backup TWRP let you choose which partitions you want to save.

Sure :) you can backup a working persist.img from another phone with TWRP, then restore it to yours😉

It is a TWRP backup, extract the zip file into internal storage and then restore backup.

Hi again, Cuoco! I have got a persist partition backup from a spanish forum friend and restored it in my Nubia. It worked! I have now wifi and bluetooth again. Thank you very much!!!

Grandi ragazzi la rom funziona benissimo lo z9 praticamente ha cambiato faccia anche in termini di batteria e stabilità grazie mille.. ;)

Bisogna ancora sistemare un po' la traduzione, però penso che sia una buona base di partenza...

Si ho seguito la procedura indicata. La batteria è migliorata tantissimo forse anche per le app. preintsallate prima che ora non ci sono più. Per miglioramenti si potrebbe correggere la lingua italiana durante una risposta rapida com messaggio quando si riceve una chiamata. E si potrebbe poi vedere se possibile avere la capacità di spegenere una sim il resto è apposto. :D

ciao ragazzi, anche io ho ricevuto notifica per aggiornamento che non ho ancora effettuato. intanto una domanda...ho installato skype e sia con/senza auricolari non riesco a far sentire la mia voce durante le chiamate vocali, è un problema solo del nostro nubia z9 mini?

Ciao Ecco alcuni feedback dopo l'installazione e un po di utilizzo: ho notato migliormaneti ma allo stesso tempo ho riscontrato cose che prima non avvenivano. Tipo: premetto di utilizzare due sim slot 1 vodafone e slot 2 3 ita. Nell'accensione alla connessione dati della vodafone la sim 3 da menu sopra dove indicato il segnale di banda, appare il segno R = rooming, com se la scheda quando non sotto rete dati va in mod. 2g, e quindi essendo la 3 ita non supportata di 2g si collega a tim come rooming alterando anche i consumi. (Dico questo perche avevo gia un dual sim che mi faceva questo sullo slot si2 solo in 2 g) Mentre nell'accensione della connessione 3 ita alla vodafone non avviene nnt ma spesso e volentieri i dati della 3 ita non si avviano portandomi poi ad entrare nelle impostazioni e settare una rete manualmente cosi poi funzionante.
Tutto ciò prima non avveniva. Grazi delle risposte a presto...

Ciao, proveresti a controllare se il punto di accesso APN è corretto?
Avevo visto che sulla mia schedina vodafone il punto di accesso predefinito era Postemobile e non quello di Vodafone.
Devi andare in Impostazioni -> Impostazioni Dual-SIM -> cliccare su Altro in riferimento alla SIM della Vodafone -> Nomi punti di accesso

Ottima rom, ma ho dei problemi con i contatti google, nelle impostazioni non si riesce a gestire l'account google ?

Si la nubia ha personalizzato la funzione classica degli account. Cmq, hai due possibilità per accedere all'account Google e altri:

1) tramite la registrazione dell'account Nubia sotto Impostazioni/Account

2) Sotto l'applicazione Contatti > Altro (More) >Avanzate >Account

I was using the Cuoco92 1.19 custom rom and I'm actually testing the new custom 3.10 rom.All is fine with no bug.I'm really happy.

On the 3.10 rom the french language (I'm french) is not as complete than the 1.19 rom.

Is there any possibility to change the compression of the pictures in mms : With the Nubia messaging app , pictures that I send with mms have a really low definition.No way to increase the definition without using another app ?

Praticamente ho capito. Quando accendo la connessione dati automaticamente l'altra scheda sia lo slot 1 e 2 sisi setta su 2g e quindi la tre mi va in roaming. Ciò pensò sia stato fatto per ridurre i consumi xke in 2G GSM il segnale e migliore e quindi si incrementa l'autonomia batteria. Ma prima non avveniva. PS quando pero accendo i dati ovviamente automaticamente mi sceglie una connessione più veloce e quindi si setta il 3g o 4g togliendosi dal roaming. Ma a dati spenti sono sempre in 2g a prescindere dallo sl

Ora ho notato un altro problema: quando voglio vedere le info su whatsapp di qualche contatto o gruppo mi dice che l'applicazione si è bloccata in modo anomalo... Come fare a risolvere? Devi aggiornare il cellulare alla versione 3.10

Poi puoi scegliere se utilizzare la rom customizzata da noi (che trovi alla stessa pagina) oppure la rom originale (nelle pagine iniziali del thread)

Nella pagina del link che mi hai fornito ho trovato un altro link che mi rimanda a scaricare "mega" da play store.. DV scaricare quello? E poi seguire i passi nella pagina 28,giusto? Ti ringraziò ancora per l'aiuto

Si i link sono su mega perché abbiamo deciso di mettere lì le rom per velocizzare il download.
Devi scaricare la rom dal pc, copiarla sulla sd e seguire le istruzioni. Fai attenzione che la procedura cancella i dati come foto musica ecc... Quindi fatti un backup prima

Hi, i'm sorry but there isn't any option on Nubia apps for MMS pictures resolution (as I know), you have to try another MMS app and see if you can solve the problem in this way.
For french language @Cuoco92 can answer to you better than me :)

The lack of french language isn't really a big deal.I have 70% of the rom in french and the rest in english.

The Cuoco92 3.10 rom is really working well and I'm happy with it.I have just traduced the Condividi media apk in french for the fun ;)
