Nella 5.0i il vpll è disabilitato di default.

Vpll spiegato da Gokhan:
"in s2, mpll is used as mali clock source.
and it limits us to some fixed freq steps.
I tried to use vpll (as in s3) in one of the betas back in 4.0 but it didn't work on some devices.
and I removed it from the kernel. but in v5.0rc2 I put it back...
that is why most of the people complained about the instability because they didn't read before they write...
with vpll we have 330, 440 and 520MHz steps (more is possible but even 520 is not stable on most of the devices)
so, in v5.0, the default steps are: 66-108-160-267-330
you will have an option to disable it if it is not stable on your device.
but with the latest hack that I commit today, it will be stable on most of the devices.
robertobsc's device was rebooting automatically in deep sleep, and now it is working perfectly well with vpll mode"

Ancora qualche volta ancora l'effetto crt-off non va, deve essere quello il problema

spero proprio che cambi la grafica generale di stweaks...fino a quel momento continuo ad usare extweaks.

??? Io veramente volevo far notare che secondo quanto detto da gokhan, questa non sarà l ultima versione del siyah (al contrario di quanto dichiarato da lui stesso poco tempo fa).

Cmq se il tuo problema è il CRT (imposta a 100 ms il valore del fbearlysuspend delay in stweaks screen) e ti funzionerà sempre.

Grazie del suggerimento, non conoscevo questo parametro.
Era solo una battuta cmq, l'effetto crt-off potrei benissimo non averlo mai.

Speriamo che questa versione 5.0i sia all'altezza della penultima 4.1.5, quando ancora GM aveva il GS2 tra le mani...

Mi sembra giusta la scelta di Gokhan, visto che a breve sarà rilasciato JB ufficialmente da Samsung penso potrà migliorarlo ulteriormente avendo il source del kernel.

io questa notte avevo scaricato la 5.0 (non l'ho flashata), che invece ha aggiornato a 5.0i, giusto?
lascio perdere la 5.0 e flasho la 5.0i??
