What do I need to be "Safe"?
Do I need the Bootloader that comes with XXELLA? No - There is no evidence to suggest this fixes anything
Do I need an XXELLA / Update 7 fix Based Kernel? Yes - Kernel is where the fix is
Do I need an XXELLA based ROM? No - The Kernel is where the fix is
Do I need a Recovery with XXELLA / Update 7 fixes? Yes - Recovery uses a Kernel too so it also needs fixes
