Fring ha da poco aggiornato la sua applicazione per Android introducendo il completo supporto al Nexus S, e Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Altre novità includono poi un miglioramento alle notifiche e al registro delle attività (chiamate, chat, nuovi amici etc.) e un audio notevolmente potenziato.
