“It always annoyed me how long it takes to open up the Camera app to take a quick picture. Yesterday I decided to make this tile for QuickSettings that functions as a small camera.
The first tap starts the preview and subsequent taps take pictures. It attempts continuous autofocus if the device supports it or otherwise focuses after the first tap. When you are done just close the notification shade and the camera will automatically close. The pictures taken are full resolution and same quality as through the Camera app.”
Come avrete notato dall’immagine e dal video, i quick settings di Android 4.2 in video presentano un nuovo riquadro che mostra direttamente ciò che sta inquadrando la fotocamera. Ciò permetterà all’utente di realizzare rapidamente fotografie.
Con due semplici tap si potranno ottenere normali fotografie, un primo sulla preview per accedere alla fotocamera ed il secondo per lo scatto.
Ovviamente ciò ha un dispendio energetico maggiore rispetto ai classici quick settings e proprio per questo chiudendo la tendina verrà chiusa automaticamente anche l’app della fotocamera.
Ancora non sappiamo quando questa funzione arriverà sulla ROM ufficiale ed attualmente il team CM sta testando il tutto. Vi terremo aggiornati.
