It could get pretty bad pretty damn quick. This is often the case. Look what happened to Research In Motion (RIM). Look what happened to Nokia. Last summer Micromax surpassed Samsung as the dominant feature phone player in India. We’re talking literally in eight months this occurred… This is just one market. We see this happen all over the world.
Samsung potrà anche aver appena lanciato sul mercato il suo Galaxy S6 e il suo S6 Edge, ma secondo Kirt McMaster, CEO presso la Cyanogen, il colosso coreano dovrà rinnovarsi e migliorarsi molto di più per rimanere sul mercato. Sempre stando alle sue dichiarazioni, il declino Samsung potrebbe avvenire nel giro di circa cinque anni.
In un’intervista rilasciata al Business Insider, McMaster ha spiegato i suoi pareri nei riguardi della Samsung, ed ha inoltre annunciato che la compagnia di Seul alla finè verrà “mangiata” e “massacrata” dai suoi concorrenti negli anni a venire.
Nell’intervista, McMaster argomenta su come aziende produttrici di fascia medio-bassa di prezzo, come la Xiaomi e la Micromax, diminuiranno drasticamente le vendite della Samsung, nei prossimi 3 – 5 anni.
