Motorola ha tolto i veli al suo ultimo smartphone "budget-friendly", ovviamente basato su Android. Il suo nome è XT531 - sul mercato europeo arriverà come Fire XT - e presenta un display da 3.5" (con una risoluzione di 320x480 px) insieme ad una CPU da 800 MHz, 512MB di RAM e doppia fotocamera, posteriore da 5 Megapixel con autofocus e flash, e anteriore VGA per effettuare video chiamate.


La memoria interna è di 512 MB, espandibile via microSD fino a 32 GB, e non manca connettività WiFi, Bluetooth, modulo GPS e radio FM, oltre ad un LED per le notifiche. La batteria è invece da 1540mAh, in grado di garantire fino a 8 ore di conversazione o 28 giorni in standby, e la versione di Android è la 2.3 Gingerbread, “accompagnata” da un’interfaccia utente personalizzata da Motorola.

L’uscita è prevista per questo mese in Cina, per poi arrivare in autunno in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europa e America Latina. Il prezzo sarà comunicato a breve, non appena ci saranno novità vi faremo sapere.

Motorola XT531 also has best-in-class battery life, allowing users to talk for eight hours or have 28 days of standby in 3G mode. The battery can handle regular multitasking between apps, games and Web browsing, as well as heavy messaging. Users also have access to more than 250,000 apps from the Android Market™ and in some countries will have access to SHOP4APPS.
The Motorola XT531 will be marketed as Motorola FIRE™ XT in Europe and as Motorola SPICE™ XT in Latin America. The Motorola XT531 will be available as single-SIM and dual-SIM models in select parts of Asia. The dual-SIM model will be available starting this fall.
