Ancora brutte notizie riguardanti HTC. La società taiwanese ha infatti aggiornato sul suo sito ufficiale la pagina delle FAQ relative ad Android 4.1 chiarendo che tutti i dispositivi dotati di 512 MB di RAM (o meno) non riceveranno nessun aggiornamento. Esclusi quindi anche i recenti One V e Desire C.
Ecco quanto scritto nello specifico:
What devices will not get Android 4.1?
We work hard to ensure each of our products has the optimal user experience and therefore some products will remain at their current version of Android. In general, devices with 512MB RAM or less will not be upgraded to Android 4.1. At present, these devices include the HTC One V and the HTC Desire C. As we identify other devices that will not be upgraded, we’ll provide updated information.
Per quanto riguarda invece gli altri modelli, l’obiettivo di HTC è quello di “dare priorità ai dispositivi commercializzati nel 2012 con i numerosi partner in tutti i vari paesi e quindi prendere poi in considerazione la possibilità di fornire gli aggiornamenti anche ai prodotti del 2011″.
