COT recovery Folder structure

Some users asked me about the folder structure in COT recovery.
There is a folder named BLOBS with many folders and files inside it. You will have this structure if you are using the DUP method. What happens in that method is that everytime you making a backup the recovery writes only the new or changed files (this safes lot of storage space and time) according to file hashes. Those files are stored in BLOBS. So.... NEVER DELETE the BLOBS folder. If you want to delete an old backup only delete its folder (the one with the date) and all other files will be deleted automatically when you get a new backup.
On the following link you can see what Koush Dutta said about that.

If you are using TAR method... ehmmm you already know.
