Il fastidioso “Sleep of Death” non è nuovo nell’ambiente Android e purtroppo sembra aver afflitto anche il nuovo Xperia V, in vendita in alcuni paesi dai primi di Dicembre.
Come anticipato, questo bug impedisce all’utente di utilizzare il dispositivo una volta in stand-by il quale per farlo partire nuovamente dovrà rimuovere la batteria.
Dal suo debutto sul mercato molti utenti hanno segnalato sul forum di Sony questo problema e proprio alcuni giorni fa il produttore ha riconosciuto il bug ed ha comunicato che verrà rilasciato un apposito bug-fix non appena verrà sistemato il problema.
In attesa di poter definitivamente risolvere il problema alcuni utenti segnalano che l’ultimo update firmware (9.0.1.D.0.10) o l’avvio dello smartphone in modalità provvisoria potrebbe tamponare il presentarsi del bug.
Ecco alcuni commenti di utenti che hanno riscontrato il fastidioso bug:
“I got my Xperia V a couple of weeks ago and I am really pleased with it. I only have one problem which I do not know how to fix. Sometimes when the phone is in standby, I cannot turn it on again by pressing the power button. There is absolutely no response when I do so. I can see the phone is still on because when I have a message, the LED is blinking. The only thing that works is taking out the battery and power it back up. I think it has happened to me 4 times over the past 2 weeks.”
“I upgraded my Xperia Arc to Xperia V a week ago and the first days it worked perfectly. The last two days I noticed that the alarm did not ring and then when I investigated the phone I could not start it with the on/off button on the right side. I could see it was on since the light blinked blue for new message but I could not start/open the phone. I had to remove the battery and put it back and then the phone kicked on.”

“I have woken up late, and hence came to work late 3 times, due to this “sleep of death” problem on my Xperia V. Can’t imagine after so many years using the phone as alarm clock, now I have to rely on the mechanic alarm clock again.”
Attendiamo aggiornamenti e comunicazioni ufficiali da parte di Sony.
Il problema c’è anche su molti Samsung Galaxy S2, in una discussione sul forum https://www.androidiani.com/forum/samsung-galaxy-s2-i9100/224544-info-galaxy-s2-si-blocca-e-non-riparte-risultando-agli-altri-raggiungibile.html abbiamo già raccolto più di cento segnalazioni (e sono solo quelle delle persone che sono capitate sul forum ovviamente il problema ce l’ha anche molta altra gente ) . Perchè non fate un articolo anche su questo dato che Samsung a differenza di Sony si rifiuta di ammettere il problema nonostante le nostre telefonate,raccomandate e segnalazioni sulla pagina samsung Mobile Italia di facebook?

ciao a tutti. volevo dire che il problema c’è anche sul galaxy S2. in quetsa discussione https://www.androidiani.com/forum/samsung-galaxy-s2-i9100/224544-info-galaxy-s2-si-blocca-e-non-riparte-risultando-agli-altri-raggiungibile.html ne stiamo parlando da molto e avremo già + di 100 segnalazioni. vorrei che questo sito si prendesse l’impegno di fare un articolo anche su questa vicenda. siamo tutti molto delusi da samsung dato che ancora non ha ammesso il problema e sta continuando a farci fare dentro-fuori dalle assistenze senza risolvere il problema. inoltre su samsung italia e samsung italia mobile da settimane non si parla d’altro che di questo SOD su S2. confido in un vostro interesse data l’importanza e la visibilità di questa pagina. grazie. lollo1980 dal forum androidiani!

L’S2 è da mesi che ha sto problema e non hanno ancora fatto nulla!
..è un problema che c’è anche su una marea di samsung galaxy s2!!!
..solo che la samsung non dà alcuna risposta a riguardo e pare fregarsene del tutto!!!
Per favore fate una notizia sul SOD(sleep of death) anche per Galaxy s2 , per cosi dare più rilievo al problema . Perche sembra che samsung se ne freghi
Ragazzi date voce ai tanti utenti del vostro forum che hanno problemi di Sleep of death sull’S2. Fate un articolo sul nostro problema, breve e conciso. Così ne diamo ampia diffusione!
